Yellow Masonry sand also known as sharp sand or concrete sand has many applications. This sand is used as the base layer for pavers, flagstone, and other leveling needs. It is typically a larger particle size and more sharp and angular in shape than the white sand thus allowing more drainage where needed. Some masons also use this particular sand in some stucco applications. This sand is naturally more brownish yellow in color and can contain some small pieces of aggregate.
